Welcome to my little digital corner. I am a University Language Teacher and researcher at the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, where I completed my PhD: Mapping the Works of Manuel de Pedrolo in Relation to the Post-civil War Catalan Landscape (2019) as well as my MRes: The Figure of the Last Man in Manuel de Pedrolo’s ‘Mecanoscrit del segon origen’. I previously held a lectureship position at the Department of Digital Arts and Humanities at this same institution (2023-25).

My research looks at literary spaces in the context of Iberian minoritised languages and cultures, particularly through the use of text-mining and GIS to map post-war Catalan literary and cultural heritage. I am also interested in multilingual approaches to the field of Digital Humanities, and enhancing learning and teaching through the ethical use of digital technologies.

Other activities I pursue in a less academic manner include sustainability, contributing to a circular economy through DIY, advocating for movements such as Right to Repair and engaging with the maker community practices.

I obtained my Bachelor degree in English Philology at the Universitat de Barcelona (2011) and relocated to Ireland in 2009 after an Erasmus stay at University College Cork.
